The room was very clean, comfortable and new/well renovated. The free hot breakfast was a great start to our day and having fresh coffee/tea/hot chocolate available around the clock was an unexpected treat.

The water temperature was inconsistent - sometimes cold and wouldn't warm up for several minutes, sometimes too hot even when the faucet was set to the far right. The swimming pool water was a bit cloudy. Couldn't connect to the WiFi.

understaffed at the front desk - does not use the tools they have in place to help the understaffed front desk make their job more friendly for visitors. In an effort to help make your staff easier to serve me I paid in advance and I choose your hotel because of past experience with your company to use digital checkin and keys. Because of these efforts to make your staff's work less by using digital tools offered by your company - I was punished because I paid in advance ( because common sense says paying in advance is to help the company ensure they get all funds efficiently with the ability to use the funds before the visit ends. ) I used your app and it said I had checked in - but it would not provide a key and it never checked me in. If your Hotel will not staff sufficiently and if you refuse to let guess use your digital app unless they do not pay in advance - I will not support your company because you are like many companies who abuse their staff without giving them the tools they need to make their job of customer service even possible to do. Your company puts road blocks in the way of your customer to even try to help make their visit comfortable in what would seem common sense ways. Not everyone is an extrovert and not everyone is like what you assume everyone should be. I will not be visiting this Hampton inn again. I have not had this kind of issues with Hampton inns in Chicago or Frostburg. I can only assume this is due to the management of this particular location.

We were very pleased with this Hampton Inn! It was very clean, the staff friendly, they had a great breakfast, and the layout of the hotel was very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again!
