I loved the security at the Westin in that you need a room key to select your room floor on the elevator. If you're not staying at the Westin, the elevator will not operate which is wonderful.
I loved the cleanliness of the hotel, the pillows, the onsite Starbucks and the 12 noon checkout.
Negatives:
The person who checked us in whom I won't mention by name because I wouldn't want to be the cause of someone losing their employment. I made two double room reservations for my husband and I and for the other couple traveling with us. The associate checking us in implied several times that there was some hanky-panky (for lack of a better term) going on. This was extremely annoying. Even if it were the case, it would not have been his business to talk about it, especially in the presence of others checking in. I felt extremely uncomfortable. The Westin should provide training to its staff to avoid something like this happening to other guests at check-in.
Parking was a little confusing as the parking lot is also connected with the Arlington Gateway. When trying to get to our rooms, we thought we were in the lobby of the Westin. However, we were in the Arlington lobby. I suppose for guests like ourselves, there should at least be signage letting you know that the two parking lots for the two hotels are joined.
