Positives: The location was convenient to downtown Richmond and restaurants. The breakfast was awesome!

Negatives: I was made to pay double when the front desk lady did not officially see my booking.com reservation at first. She did not do much to help the situation. It wasn't until the next day that a gentleman at the front desk helped and voided the double payment before I checked out on Sunday. There was dog poop in the hallway at a door that a person who stayed did not pick up and it created a terrible smell on the 1st floor. The bathroom in room 426 was not very clean around the bathtub.

Negatives: I was given a full refund. The property turned off the ac. They started giving guests fans and even went to go buy fans!! The pool was water was green.. it’s not the same place I use to stay at on a regular basis when I lived in Richmond. I will never stay here again.

Positives: the breakfast and staff were great! We enjoyed it!

Negatives: We were not appreciated staying during our stay. My kids were excited to swim, but the indoor pool's water temperature was cold for them. We decided to not let them swim there.. They were getting upset and crying... also, we asked more blankets, but they spelled weird and uncomfortable to use. I asked the front desk if they could deliver new ones to a room where we were staying, but never received it.

Positives: The room was spacious and the staff was friendly

Negatives: The AC was turned off for the entire building because some guests had complained about it being too cold. My room was 85 degrees when I checked in, and when I thought it was due to the AC being broken, the front desk staff explained why and said they gave me a balcony room so I could open the door to cool off the room. This is unacceptable. Additionally, one of the desks in the room was broken and barely standing.
