Positives: The staff were very hospitable and truly wanted guests to enjoy their stay. They went above and beyond to make use feel welcome. They continued to check in without throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. The location was perfect, right downtown near the capital and museums, ample restaurants, the Fan District, and Carytown. Valet parking was reasonable and very convenient. There also was an onsite restaurant, tavern and coffee shop. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The entire hotel was spotless. Our room was quite large, the size of a DC studio apartment, with a King bed and two-person shower. There was a large desk we used as a table to enjoy our late-night DoorDash. The comfy arm chair and ottoman were perfect for kicking back. We will stay here again next time we are in Richmond.

Negatives: Parking was pretty high given there was a much cheaper garage across the street. But, we preferred the safety and connivence of valet parking. Hopefully, the cost goes to paying the valets a good salary because we were among the half or so people I saw tipping the valets.

Positives: The hotel was in a great location for walking around downtown Richmond. When I checked in, I signed up for the free Omni membership, which gave me free WiFi and a free drink from the Starbucks on location (or the restaurant’s bar), which was nice. The valet attendants were all very nice and helpful!
