AC Hotel by Marriott Seattle Bellevue/Downtown

Negatives: I was a guest at this hotel, I have called the day before yesterday, and yesterday to front desk with no one picking up at night for a few times, on top of that the bathroom fan does not work and I've been dealing with this for an hour since 9PM with front desk lady who has been redundant with her responses to me, and very unprofessional. She switched my room twice then proceeded to tell me a handyman would come the 2nd time, when he did not, and nobody followed up, I waited up with my partner for almost 15 minutes and went down, then she told me handyman said "it works it is just subtle" when he told my partner and i the first time that the fan did NOT work. So here I was after an hour of sitting around doing nothing waiting for this to be fixed or switch to a room that has a working fan, just handed a card with management information, not knowing if anything can even be addressed at this point. Also, I've never had such a horrible soundproof hotel ever, I could hear everything in the hallway, I could hear guests dropping things upstairs and barely slept. Stay away from this hotel, I sure hope I did.

Negatives: The electricity in our room kept going out. Maintenance came up and said it was fixed but went out again in middle of the night. Would not change our room until head maintenance came next day. Said it was fixed but happened again. They finally changed our room. Was a fire hazard. Also, no sink in bathroom.

Negatives: Can hear everything from inside your room. Other people’s doors open and closing any noise in halls.

Negatives: Canceled the reservation without any advance notice as they had overbooked. Check in staff unapologetic and didn’t even bother to provide alternatives.

Negatives: Nothing it was great

Negatives: The view from the room was a little lackluster. I was hoping for a little more for $290/night. I would be willing to pay that or even more if valet was included. $55/day seems steep for valet when the hotel is already pricey. The hidden fees were very frustrating. I was overcharged $140 for “incidentals”. My fiancé and I aren’t swimming in money so not having that $140 definitely made us change our plans so we didn’t get the most out of the trip. When I see a final price “including taxes and fees” I expect to pay that much. Not more, not less. We also couldn’t get a straight answer from the staff about the extra charges. I’m not blaming the staff, they were great, especially Chris. It just goes to show there is a gap in communication from sales/management to the staff.

Negatives: NA - This doesn't apply to me as I had NO issues during my stay.

Negatives: The cleaning lady was banging on the door too loudly.
