Red Lion Hotel Ellensburg

Negatives: It didn't seem to have heat throughout the hallways or building in general. The entire place seemed to be under construction with no construction activity. The pool and fitness center were both closed because they were "under construction". The continental breakfast was held in what appeared to be an old restaurant that was also "under construction" and very dark. I have stayed at Red Lion's in the past and there was always a standard that I expected and although the staff was very nice, the place was not well maintained. Our room was clean but the bathroom door was barely functional.

Negatives: Filthy lobby bathroom, outside garbage overflowing. Staff rude, incompetent and couldn’t check in early

Negatives: The facility needs some updating. The rooms were comfortable, but dated. Wish there was more outlets, or USB charging ports. Coffee machine in rooms would be good.

Negatives: Your web site has the red lion having a hot tube they don't when we walked in there was a pile of something on the floor the building inside was dirty. When we got to the room it was not even cleaned the beds where still messed up the bathroom had bowls on the floor and there was trash every where in the room still.

Negatives: It’s old and needs updating. It has potential but they need to throw some money and work at it. The towels need replaced, they were clean but stained and the products they have as far as shampoo and conditioner are of low quality.

Negatives: The place looked clean but smelled horrible. It gave me a headache. The woman that was there when I checked out was dismissive and did not seem to care.

Negatives: Door cards dis not work. Had to slide them 3 times, and sometimes that didn't work. The bathtub did not drain, making my shower short due to it filling up. The room was clean. However, the hallways had carpet staples lying on the ground. Cobwebs in the corners. We didn't eat breakfast there, so no comment on that. The pool was open. However, the room is cold, and the floors of the pool look like they haven't been cleaned in years.

Negatives: The price was a little high.

Negatives: They provided breakfast was sad, consisting of waffles, mini muffins, yogurt and toasted bread products. There was no coffee and the room was only half lit.

Negatives: The building was pretty run down. The staff didn't seem to engaged and their "system" was down for days.

Negatives: We had NO soap. Asked for some, was told they would bring it up. No soap still.

Negatives: bathroom tub plug didn't work, exhaust fan sound like a truck. I paid extra for a room up grade and I was located next to the maintenance room which let of sounds. Couldn't sleep the second night because of the noise. Is room service supposed to make up a persons bed in the morning?

Negatives: Waited 4 hours to check in due to software being down. I find it very odd there isn't a work around for this, EVERY operating system should have a back up. The front desk was horrific (jeans and sweatshirts and making jokes about not finding my reservation once the system was up. READ THE ROOM). Hotel was dirty, towels were stained. Will never, ever stay here again. Also no elevator in service.

Negatives: Place was a dump two days away from being condemned. Check in clerk was incompetent (and I am being polite here). Hotel was a shambles inside. Breakfast was a joke and should be reported to the health department.
