Positives:
The hotel is at a great location. There are train, bus, and light rail stations within a couple of blocks of the hotel. For the 5 days we visited, we were able to walk and ride public transit to pretty much everywhere we have planned to visit.
Negatives:
The hotel was great; but I must say that downtown Seattle is very different from what I remember when I visited 10 years ago. There are many empty buildings, and the mall nearby had less than 40% occupancy. It was both sad and depressing seeing the city like this.

The location was good. The meal we had were good.

There was a fire in the alleyway of the hotel and we had to leave building. On Sunday night of our stay Dec 1st. The rooms next door were so noisy. I called at about 10:05 pm and then again around 3:00 am as the noise continued passed 3:00am.
The front desk person I spoke with said they were going to send out security to see what the noise was. It was people make noise very loud. I'm sure you have a policy about this, how do you enforce it?? It doesn't seem to us that the hotel enforced the issue. Why is there right to make noise and party in hotel more important than my peace and quiet night sleep in this hotel? I hope this is helpful.

The room was pretty tiny and cramped - I have stayed in larger rooms at hotels that were cheaper. The lighting in the room was terrible - just a few bedside lamps that barely lit the room. The cleaners showed up only one of the four days I stayed - I was out all day on these days and it was very annoying to come back to a room that was not cleaned at all.
