Negatives: Used booking.com to reserve and made payment directly to hotel prior to arrival via text sent to my phone from the hotel. I paid for my two nights stay in full prior to arriving. However booking.com still had a pending charge in my checking account even though I'd already paid. I called the hotel to confirm prior to arrival that this pending charge would not be billed and was told that this often happens with third-party billing, not to worry. I again confirmed with check in staff upon check-in staff upon arrival that this pending charge would not be processed and was told it would not. Confirmed upon checkout with staff that again, this pending charge would not be processed and was assured that it would not. 2 hours later arrived home and saw that the charge from booking.com was processed so I paid double for my room. Call the hotel they apologized said it was an error on the part of one of their agents and that the amount would be credited back to my checking account. I don't know how much more I could have done to ensure that I would not be double-billed? I was disappointed in this, I didn't appreciate having to have to wait for my money to be returned maybe within five business days. Feel that this should not be an issue for anybody booking third party with the hotel, that made me very unhappy

Negatives: Rooms slightly smaller sized compared to other places I have stayed at Parking garage isn’t attached and is a bit of walk from hotel

Negatives: LOCATION RUBBISH, VERY EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT WAS

Negatives: I felt the bar and restaurant could have been open until 10:00. I got in after an 7.5 hour drive and by the time I got into the room and settled it was too late. Over all the experience there was still great and I was able to find someplace to go eat and catch a cocktail.

Negatives: Would be nice if it had a Continental breakfast and also the heating/cooling units make it tough to sleep as they are a bit noisy.

Negatives: We approached the bar/restaurant area at 9:40. The bartender went back to the kitchen came out and said they will go ahead and take care of you. Our server CLEARLY was unhappy to have to wait on us. Didn’t even say hi, my name is… nothing. My food came out wrong; ordered fish fry but received baked fish. My friend and my food was warm at best. It was disappointing, but we made the best of it.
