Positives:
I liked the bar/restaurant attached--to include a Perkins. I could grab a glass of wine and eat something on site. They had nightly specials. It was close to other restaurants in the event you didn't want to eat on site and also several gas stations nearby. It was also right off the highway. I didn't get a chance to try out the exercise room, but it looked decent. I also didn't get a chance to try out the pool, but that also looked nice. The hot tub was closed/not useable during my stay.
My first night there, I didn't have time to get a breakfast in the morning, but my second night there I did. Perkins was great! You get a $6.00 voucher to use for breakfast with your stay.
The hotel and bar/restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
The room was clean for the most part. There was hair on the side of the tub in the bathroom, but other than that, no other concerns/complaints. The coffee in the room did not taste very good and the coffee in the lobby was full of coffee grounds the morning I left. I'm sure this was an isolated event, but I had to get to a meeting off site and didn't have time to stop and so was bummed there was no drinkable coffee (by my standards) but not a huge deal. There is a Perkins attached and so if I had time, I would have gotten some coffee there. Not sure if they served it "to go" though.
Also, not a big deal, but the entry door on the side of the hotel where a lot of folks' park was reportedly known to "stick" and so you had to pull hard to open it. I was able to manage it, but I'm not sure how manageable it would be for everyone. I know the front desk staff were aware of it, i.e. reported guests had complained about it, but I don't know that anything was being done about it.

Location
Negatives:
Spent just under 800 for 3 days in a room with moldy caulk in the bathroom and what looked like many blood or mail polish spots on the carpet, room 117. I’m a vendor at Cranberry Festival and it’s outrageous that you don’t give vendors a small discount for rebooking. Will stay at s as n Airbnb next year. Four years of Tomah hotel rates without a vendor discount is offensive!
