Clarion Pointe Tomah

Negatives: I was there for 5 nights, they didn’t come in the room once. No new towels, garbage not removed, coffee not refilled. Don’t care to much about the bed, I shower before bed. Had to thaw out freezer in refrigerator before use. Had 4 inches of ice built up in it.

Negatives: I FOUND A COCKROACH IN THE FRIDGE. My family and I was traveling for Thanksgiving. I seen great reviews on this hotel so decided to give it a try. Unfortunately it did not live up to the expectations. I called earlier in the day to make sure the pool and hot tub was working because I have a 5 year old son, they told me yes. We get their and all was smooth at first. But my card wouldn't work to open the door so I had to back to the front desk he reactivated my card. I walked into my room and the fire alarm batteries needed to be changed because it was beeping. So I went to tell the front desk. It was Mike at this. He happily changed my room. I could still hear the beep from the other room INSIDE my new room. We went to explore the hotel. The hot tub was drained out. The pool at white bubbles on the top of it and is the only hotel in my life that DIDNT smell like chlorine when you open the pool door. We went to unload the car to take my son swimming I went to put something in the fridge and their was a bug in the fridge. The fridge hasn't been clean in awhile from the looks of it. I started looking around a little more. Carpet was so dirty water bottles stuck between the desk and ironing cabinet. And just a list of cleanliness issues. When brought to mikes attention he said he could only switch my room. After driving 3 hours. Having issues with 2 rooms and the hot tub already plus having a 5 year old and it wasn't safe or healthy for him to be in that environment, that's the last thing I wanted to do at that point. He was very rude and denied getting a manger involved multiple times. I have all the pictures I took of the room if you need further evidence on an educational decision on staying here. Later.on I google.searched the imagine of the big I found to determine that it's a cockroach. The bubbles in the pool is sumed up to be dirty Ness.

Negatives: Limited breakfast selection. Coffee is awful.

Negatives: The juice machine wasn’t working properly during breakfast

Negatives: When making the booking I included as a request that we were bringing our dog as the booking process offered nowhere else to indicate this. I received a reply saying the hotel had been contacted and the request could be accommodated at no additional charge. There was no mention of any fee in any of the information I received. When we arrived I was told there would be a thirty dollar fee. I explained the interactions I had when booking, but was met with repetition of "we charge a thirty dollar fee". The clerk then showed me some near microscopic print on the paper he had me sign when checking in indicating the fee. This was not mentioned anywhere else in the booking process. The only reference to animals was the "pet friendly" notice and a statement that they only accept dogs and not cats. Also, the hotel was advertised as having a hot tub, but it was out of order. Very frustrating.
