Location is the top priority—especially for an over-weekend runaway into a big city's historic downtown. It is within an original building, at a generously discounted price, and offers good 4+ level comfort.
Negatives:
The communication between electronic access systems and the hotel's PMS isn't smooth, resulting in controversies that lead to misunderstandings and frustration at check-in. Nevertheless, emphatic and sincere staff found the best way to mitigate this.

Wonderful location near Waterfront station, ferry terminal, shopping and everything you could possibly need. Super clean, modern and spacious

Checkin was a bit awkward, for an 850CAD stay they initially took 1450 CAD off my card (Prepayment, PLUS actual charge, PLUS 200 for incidentals) luckily it came back quickly.

Great location, beautiful room. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the shower divine.

Bit of a jaunt to get to the gym. Plus having to go to reception to exchange the room key for the gym key in my workout clothes in such a public area was a bit uncomfortable.
