Positives:
For a solo traveler, the room was quite spacious, very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but it was enough. The location was amazing as it was very close to a subway station and the bus terminal, and I loved walking to the Old Port and Old Montreal. There was a water filter and coffee machine at the reception which helped a lot.
Negatives:
The breakfast could have a bit more variety. This is out of the hotel's control but the location is close to a place where there are homeless people living so it can make you feel a bit uncomfortable.

Nice and comfortable hotel
Positives:
The staff was very nice and friendly , especially the receptionist with long dark curly hair , the hotel was central and well connected to the airport and other facilities ( metro close by , chemistry, shops , restaurants)
Negatives:
They don't clean the room every day , the hotel was pretty small , the breakfast was not the best ( not many lactose free options ) , the room was cold because the Aircon was on in cold temperatures

Positives:
Adequate
Negatives:
Night lights in room made it hard to sleep

Exceptional
Positives:
I liked everything about the small room. Comfortable. Noise-free. And the small lobby was welcoming. The receptionist was helpful, indicating the hotel would prepare a breakfast box since I had to check out very early.
Negatives:
Considering this was an off-season booking, they still charged me $229 for a single-night stay! Plus, adding all those Quebec taxes, I had a final tally of $273! So yeah, almost $300 for a small room in a small hotel on the murky East Side of Montréal. I am NOT pleased. Not at all!

Exceptional
Positives:
The people at the Breakfast counter were extremely friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
1. The Beds were extremely uncomfortable, it terms of size and comfort - not designed for two people.
2. Breakfast menu needs to change daily - all three days it was the same.
3. House keeping - only if you tell them they will do so, else no.

Great stay, comfortable bed.
Positives:
Everything was fine. I had informed them that I arrive in Montreal around 1 PM and fortunately room was ready. The allowed me to check-in earlier than 3PM. Room was two double beds, it was clean. Hair dryer, iron for clothes, shampoo, tv, refrigerator, everything you may need during your stay was included. Heater and cooler was fine during your stay. Breakfast was good, we were satisfied with it. Breakfast included omelet, fries, fruits (orange and apple), butter, cheese, jams, Nutella, toast breads, cakes (various types), pancake, milk, coffee, and tea. The place for breakfast was clean and fine. Staffs were very kind and respectful, and they could speak in both English and French. In entrance room, there was a place including TV and sofas with free coffee machines for all time if you need. The location was close to bus station (5 minutes I think). Totally we were happy to be there. It was my first experience travelling to Montreal, and luckily was fine.
I just have some recommendations. (1) Please consider slippers in rooms for guests who are used to put, especially when they go to restroom and bathroom. (2) If bath room has a door, it would be better because it avoids water to enter the floor during shower. Thank you!
Negatives:
Nothing, Everything was fine.
