Negatives:
We arrived at 5 pm (check in is 3 pm), and were told our room wasn’t cleaned yet and would be ready in an hour. When we went to the room, there were red stains all over the carpet, the chair was filthy, stains on the box spring, brown slimy growth in the toilet bowl, the bottom of the shower curtain looked moody, a red blob of something on the wall, and the doorknob on the bathroom door was falling off. We asked for a new room and were told they were fully booked. The guy from the front desk came and cleaned the red blob off the wall and wiped the stains on the box spring and left. He later came back and said if we call booking with our concerns he wouldn’t charge us for the room. When we checked out, my husband told the lady that we were not happy cause the room was filthy and that to start with we weren’t allowed in the room until 6 pm when checkin is at 3 pm. She got very defensive and told him housekeeping doesn’t even start until 3 pm, so that’s not their problem and that he doesn’t need to yell at her. (???). He hadn’t even raised his voice…lol. She then proceeded to tell us to call booking to do a refund. I told her I had sent a message as per the night attendant’s request and that there is no number to call booking. We didn’t pay thru booking it was at the hotel at check in. She then said we’d be refunded in 20-30 days. I later got a reply to my earlier message thru booking saying they were sorry we didn’t enjoy our stay but they are in the middle of renovating ( there was no indication of any reno’s happening), and they hoped we come back when they are done. This hotel is absolutely disgusting and unsanitary and the fact they think it’s okay to charge people or even allow people to stay there speaks volumes! Avoid at all costs. You would be better off sleeping in your car in the Walmart parking lot.

Positives:
Not good. Bread for toast was stale. All three bananas were old and badly bruised. Two juice options. Waffles that i didn’t try. Dry cereal that i also didn’t try as it looked pretty stale. Coffee was not very good. We dumped it in the sink. Staff mentioned the restaurant next door had a very nice breakfast so guess where we went.
Negatives:
I don’t think floors had been cleaned in at least a week or more. I e machines out of order. Laundry facility out of order. Swimming pool out of order. Hot tub out of order. Two of the three washroom cubicles were out of order. I didn’t check the men’s washrooms.
