Positives:
Location suited us although a bit out of town for some. Good room sizes. Casual feel.
Negatives:
The pool was closed despite the heat and we did not know before we arrived. Building works opposite.

The staff were excellent. Particular...
Positives:
It was pretty with all the pink
Negatives:
They charge my bank card two times and this was a bucket list thing for us and also we where celebrating my 15 yr anniversary fight cancer and after they took all our money we couldn’t do anything because they took Two Thousand dollars out of my account plus two hundred forty bucks so I was broke and had to drive all the way home 8 hrs away so ya I’ll never go back here
Review
It was the worst place...
Positives:
The nostalgic atmosphere and eccentric decor
Negatives:
The rooftop restaurant can be better run. It does not project the same classy image as the rest of the hotel. With limited seating and empty plastic glasses everywhere, it was a turn-off. The restaurant is also open to the public with no preference to guests, thus with it being permanently overcrowded, it really adds nothing to your stay.

That with the filming of Idol we couldn’t access the foyer cafe and lounge areas making it impossible to get a good coffee.

The decor of the hotel was fun. The rooms were well appointed and the furnishings were upscale.

We should have been told that there was filming taking place at the time of our stay. The amenities were limited due to the filming of American Idol which impacted our comfort level negatively.
