great stay—friendly staff and good...
Positives:
The old building was beautiful and it was repurposed tastefully. The location was fairly good as it was off broadway so somewhat quieter. Breakfast was great. Parked at the library just a 1/2 block away to save $44/night versus the valet. Coffee shop on the first floor. Easy walk to broadway.
Negatives:
The staff appears friendly but some are incompetent at knowing how to fix issues that have to be fixed. They tried to charge me more than I booked for on booking.com and said they didn’t know how to fix the price but they offered to cancel my reservation. After a call to management and charging two of my credit cards the price of the stay, (they said the first one was declined, but wasn’t), I was able to check in and wait to speak with the GM the next day to fix the issues. I wasn’t given the room I booked when checking in with the app. The blanket in the closet for the fold out couch was dirty. The windows are so filthy it’s hard to see out. The dishwasher wasn’t mounted so it wobbles. The fold out couch was basically barely cushioned cardboard, but many feel that way.

The staff was so welcoming and sweet! I told the lady who checked me in it was our anniversary, and she surprised us with a banner and gift basket. I’d stay here again! Comfortable, nice breakfast, clean and convenient to sites like Broadway and the farmers market.
