Positives:
We liked the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room.
Negatives:
We were put off by the giant political signs at the entrance to the hotel. At breakfast, there were cards on the table supposedly listing the views of both parties. It was no such thing. As a Christian since 10 years old, being baptized in the Baptist church at 14, l apply the principles that Jesus taught to my life. Matthew 22:36-40 sums up what I believe about being Christlike. Those cards were a negation of everything I believe. How can you say you are Christlike when you reject the stranger in your midst? How can you say you are Christlike when you judge "the other" as being evil? The gospel of Jesus is meant to lead us to a life of practicing love and compassion for all beings (including ourselves) and an ardent commitment to God. Thanks for asking for my opinion.

Positives:
The staff was exceptional, the room was good and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and It was easy to get to in town. The breakfast was excellent also- in fact the best hotel breakfast that we have had. Vernon is a real cook!
Negatives:
No signs in halls to indicate what rooms are down the several hallways. The building is large and confusing..
