I booked this room about 6 weeks in advance. I received an email (from Aloft, not the booking company) the day prior and checked in advance, only to get there (it was at 10pm) to be told my room was no longer available. I was offered a king bed but the reservation clearly had 4 adults (my 18 yr old daughters were traveling with my husband and me). I asked for any accommodations such as a cot and was was only offered additional blankets. The biggest issue was the service provided by the assistant manager, who was very reluctant to tell me his name and was put out that I asked, but there was no name tag, card or anything. He said word for word (which in 1 minute denied) that it was not his problem and my room was not guaranteed since booked through Booking. com and if i had a problem i needed to contact them. I pleaded that I had traveled for several hours, it was 10pm and what could be done and he said he could not help me. I asked for a record that my room was cancelled so he completed that and gave me a paper with another customer's name, so I guess he cancelled someone else's room. He said he was new which was evident. Apparently there were other king bed rooms which i offered as a solution but we would not let us take it since it was reserved for other customer so were basically stranded for the night, Horrible situation and service
