I liked it till we found out there were bed bugs in the room we stayed in.. we have spent tons of money to get rid of this issue that came home with us. We have stayed at several hotels and never had this issue! We loved the place and even considered coming back till we found bugs. I believe we stayed in room 307.

The dishes in my dishwasher were dirty and the staff at night when we came in was rude and sassy made us go down for blankets never been to a hotel where the staff doesnt bring the blanket to room

So, we generally love staying at Homewood Suites. I was pretty disappointed in this one though. The rooms were much smaller than most Homewood suites with only a pull out couch in addition to the King Bed. We had to request a roll away, which was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress felt like it was 20 years old with worn out springs. We asked for additional pillows and were told they werent available. While I was taking a shower, the shower curtain literally fell down! Im also not a fan of this trend of for your convenience, we only clean the room every other day.. My convenience?? It is not convenient to sleep in a dirty room! I still pay the same rate, so no, its not my convenience, its your pocket book and we all know it! Its sad to see the price of the hotel arena has lost pride in their industry. Start cleaning rooms EVERY DAY! Thats what we are paying for!!

The room and hotel are ready for an upgrade. There was peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and some dated fixtures. The shower water pressure (2nd floor) was not great and the elevator was very slow. The pool and facilities were closed for maintenance. When we discovered only three towels in our room and called the front desk, they said we had to come down to pick them up. I don't think they have much staff and seemed overwhelmed.
