Positives:
Anytime I come to or thru Virginia we stay here. For YEARS this was our number 1 choice for lodging. Its a great price, its near EVERYTHING (restaurants, shopping, my family). And normally has a heated indoor pool year round, but I guess that depends on the staff member now a days.
Negatives:
Normally the facilities, such as the pool, are a highlight with my kids. Unfortunately, due to a staff member, that was not the case this time. I know for a fact after staying here for YEARS that the pool is heated. Its one of the MAJOR reasons we stay here and not at the hotel in front with the outdoor pool. It was ICE COLD on this last stay, uncomfortably ICE COLD, we alerted the front desk and asked for the heat to be turned on and were told Its a cold pool. So we, a family of four, as well as SEVERAL other families were ALL wedged into the hot tub.

We may look to stay elsewhere next time, such a shame.
Positives:
Breakfast was Fair...not as much variety as other Hampton Inn's we've stayed at. We particularly like the location of this Hampton Inn and suits us when we are traveling up and down I-81.
Negatives:
The room was like a refrigerator and did not seem to be able to adjust temperature to feel more comfortable. When we turned it warmer it triggered heat instead of AC. Didn't think the breakfast was as varied as other Hampton Inns.
